My frist was The gamble witch I am rereading now. I find I read this book when I need a happy cry.I know that sounds stupid but it kind of cleans the soul.It reminds me not to take what i have for granted. I have a great husband and three great kids but a person tinds to take that for granted sometimes. Does anyone know what I mesn?

Velvet, my first LS book was The Gamble and I know exactly what you mean. It kind of brings you back to what really matters in this world...family, friends, good health and simple happiness. I just re-read that book recently for the 10th time in 20 years. I'm married with 2 children and I kind of look at my husband differently after I read a book like that. It just kind of makes you appreciate him more and not get mad over the stupid everyday things that we tend to do so often.

I thought I was the only one that did stuff like that. You and I must be on the plan. Her books can make you remember why you feel in love in the frist place.(do you ever wounder what could have become of Willy?)
