I love reading detective novels and have thoroughly enjoyed detective novels by greats writers like Agatha Christie, Dick Francis, Ruth Rendell, Ngaio Marsh and P.D. James. But I was very much disappointed by Colin Dexter's "The Wench is Dead" featuring the popular detective Inspector Morse. I thought the deduction part was rather boring.
